Both these pieces were custom designed for the Sydney Opera House's new Welcome Centre as part of

a project called "Made in Australia".

 

Inspired by the natural playfulness and curiosity of children. Children at play often discover new ways of looking at things and see what we often miss. The objective behind these pieces was to assist

the viewer to discover a new way of looking at "The Sydney Opera House" and get as excited as

I by what I often discover on my art journey.

 

Together or separate, either piece or both pieces are the perfect talking piece for

the contemporary Australian home be it here in Australia

or perhaps overseas for the ex pat who still calls Australia "home".
